Oberstaufen

Sunday 30 March. The start of Summer Time in Europe and we decided to have a quiet day, our only activity was to walk into Oberstaufen and walk around the town. An unusual sight was a farmhouse and an attached barn in the centre of town, this is still being used and the smells coming from the barn would indicate that the cows are in residence.

It was a magnificent sunny day and we didn’t need a jumper to keep us warm in spite of the parks in the town still having 15 cm or more of snow cover, all the outdoor tables at the pubs and restaurant were packed with people enjoying the perfect weather.

After we returned from our walk Ann thought a hit of tennis was called for, but as the attached photo shows, we weren’t able to get on the court.
