25 January. More changes, our son has just phoned from Tokyo, he has accepted a new job and he and his family will be returning to Perth next month.
Now we have to arrange our travel and accommodation for ten days in Japan.

It's On Again
20 Jan. Another email from the cruise company to advise that they will now bus us around the locks to complete the cruise on another boat.
This after I have spent two days re-booking accommodation and trying to find an alternate cruise. Now I have to ask that our changes in accommodation be cancelled, and the old bookings restored.

Change of Plans
18 Jan. I've just received an email, the cruise is cancelled because the Danube Canal locks will be closed for repairs. The company will have boats on the other side of the locks, why can't they bus us around and put us on another boat?
